Hareline Hare's Masks

Hareline's Hare's mask is a dried-out mask of a rabbit. People like to use hare's masks to make their own blends of hare's ear dubbing. Because these masks contain both fuzzy and fluffy hairs along with spiky guard hairs, you can make the perfect buggy blend to use on nymphs. The point of buying the mask instead of just buying a dubbing blend is that you can control the consistency of the blend, which gives you more freedom when fly tying.

Uses: Nymphs, soft hackles, and some small streamers

Comparison: Like Hareline dubbing, with the difference being that you have to make the dubbing yourself.
