The 1250 Dennis Glass Bead Hooks is made in sizes 12 through 18, making it an excellent choice for imitating a wide range of forage sizes.

The 1250 Dennis Glass Bead Hooks were designed around the use of glass beads, whether as the body, thorax, head, or combination of the three. There isn't really another hook on the market that's built specifically for the use of glass beads, however, if you're not looking to tie flies with glass beads, then Tiemco's TMC 2487BL Barbless Shrimp & Caddis Pupae Hook is a great choice. The TMC 2487BL is super sharp and features a continuous bend, down eye, and barbless point, making it very similar to Daiichi's 1250 Dennis Glass Bead Hook, but it won't provide the ease of use when using glass beads, so if that's what you're after, it's best to stick with Daiichi's 1250.
